オンゲキ＆CHUNITHM

オンゲキ＆CHUNITHM (ONGEKI & CHUNITHM) is maimai’s category for songs originating from SEGA’s other two major rhythm game titles, CHUNITHM and ONGEKI, as well as the multimedia project Irodori Midori. This section serves as a crossover hub, hosting internal SEGA compositions that were initially exclusive to these sister franchises before being ported to maimai. In the current maimai でらっくす (maimai DX) song list, this category is treated as a core division, grouping together various "Geki-Chu-Mai" collaboration tracks and characters under a single banner.

Historically, this category was created to organize the growing number of crossover tracks as SEGA's rhythm game ecosystem expanded. Before the launch of maimai でらっくす, many of these songs were scattered or grouped under the general "maimai" or "Sega Network" classifications. With the system overhaul in the DX series, the category was formalized to clarify the distinction between maimai-original music and ports from CHUNITHM and ONGEKI. It remains the primary location for Irodori Midori tracks and various competitive boss songs that have migrated across SEGA’s arcade platforms.
