CiRCLE

maimai でらっくす CiRCLE, released on September 18, 2025, introduces the headline Circle (サークル) team system, allowing players to form or join player-created circles (or be automatically placed into arcade-based default circles in Japan). Members earn circle points through gameplay — scaled by achievement rate, with bonuses for 2-player sessions with fellow circle members — and accumulated points unlock tiered rewards including maimile, tickets, partner presents, and collection items. A monthly leaderboard determines each user circle's class (ranging from White through Rainbow), displayed on profile cards as a metallic nameplate. The accompanying seasonal event, Circle Festa, pits circles against one another for exclusive time-limited rewards.

On the system side, MASTER and Re:MASTER charts from the original maimai でらっくす through BUDDiES are now unlocked by default, and all Stage 1 KALEIDXSCOPE courses are playable without prerequisites. The Rating calculation is adjusted: songs from the previous version count as new for rating purposes, and achieving ALL PERFECT(+) grants a bonus point. Grade Certification grades of 十段 and below are retained across versions rather than fully reset, and Area Progress 1.5x tickets are now awarded on every Grade Certification play. The Track Skip animation is significantly faster and auto-engages after a period of no input. Perfect Challenge condition relaxation times have been slowed to 3/10/17/24 days per step, and the 100-life period now requires clearing on EXPERT difficulty or higher. A new "CiRCLE" judgment line design option and a collection item preview feature have been added, while all maimile from the previous version is reset.
