Sweets Time is a Touhou Project arrange song from the doujin circle SYNC.ART'S, featuring vocalist 3L. It is a vocal remix of U.N.オーエンは彼女なのか？ (U.N. Owen Was Her?), the extra-stage boss theme of Flandre Scarlet from 東方紅魔郷 (The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil). The arrangement was handled by Kai Gojou (五条下位) with lyrics penned by Sayaka Yamazaki (やまざきさやか), originally released on SYNC.ART'S 2005 album ゆきうさぎ. The song's title and lyrics draw on a confectionery motif, apples, honey, apricot jam, and orange marmalade tea, contrasted with a darker fairy-tale undercurrent: a silver teaspoon thrown against a wall, a doll that cannot speak, a bluebird whose wings tear off in the rain, and a child shut inside a castle of toy blocks. This juxtaposition of sweet surface and unsettling subtext mirrors Flandre's character, a childlike yet volatile vampire locked away for centuries. Added to maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE on November 12, 2021, Sweets Time is available across all regions (JP, Asia, USA, and China), with the Asian release arriving on March 25, 2022 and the Chinese version following on January 18, 2023 under 舞萌DX 2022. The song originally debuted with a Basic level 3, which was adjusted down to level 2 in the UNiVERSE+ update. The DX chart set is notable for its contrasting design philosophies between the two upper difficulties. The Expert chart (designed by 翠楼屋) features an unusually high hold-note density, 138 Hold notes against 142 Taps, meaning over a third of the chart's total notes require sustained holds.
