"神々が恋した幻想郷" (Kamigami ga Koishita Gensōkyō, "The Fantasy Land Loved by the Gods") is a Touhou Project arrangement by the metal doujin circle Unlucky Morpheus, featured in maimai DX UNiVERSE since January 2022. The track adapts the stage theme of the same name from *Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith.* Unlucky Morpheus, a long-running circle in the Touhou arrangement scene known for their power metal and symphonic metal style, brings a driving, guitar-driven energy to the original's serene shrine-town melody while preserving its atmospheric core. In maimai, the song is categorized under the Touhou Project genre and occupies a mid-to-high difficulty bracket: its Master chart, designed by 翠楼屋, sits at level 13.5 and features 911 notes with a dense Tap-heavy layout, while the Expert chart by 隅田川星人 (level 10+) provides a demanding intermediate step. The Basic difficulty was lowered from level 3 to level 2 during the transition from UNiVERSE to UNiVERSE+, reflecting post-launch rebalancing. A later 宴 (banquet) chart was also added in February 2025, designed under the pun alias "神々が恋したトリル郷", a playful twist on the song title referencing trill-heavy patterns.
