幻想に咲いた花 (Gensou ni Saita Hana, "The Flower That Bloomed in Fantasy") is a Touhou Project arrangement born from a collaboration between two well-known acts in the Japanese music scene: the rock band 岸田教団&THE明星ロケッツ (Kishida Kyoudan & THE Akeboshi Rockets) and singer-songwriter Kayoko Kusano (草野華余子). The track was commissioned for the mobile rhythm game Touhou Danmaku Kagura (東方ダンマクカグラ) and later brought to maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE in November 2021 as part of that game's crossover content. Musically, the song is an arrangement of ZUN's "神々が恋した幻想郷" (The Gensokyo the Gods Loved), the stage 3 theme from Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith. The arrangement was handled by Kayoko Kusano, who also shares vocal duties with ichigo, while the lyrics were penned by Kishida (frontman of 岸田教団). At 186 BPM, the track balances a driving rock energy with melodic phrasing that reflects the bittersweet lyrics about ephemeral memories and illusions. It originally appeared on the Touhou arrangement album 東方オトハナビ (2021) before making its arcade debut. In maimai, the song spans five difficulties. The initial four charts, Basic through Master, were available at launch, while the Re:MASTER difficulty arrived as a later addition in the maimai でらっくす PRiSM update in October 2024. The Expert chart was designed by 翠楼屋 (Suirouya), the Master by アミノハバキリ (Aminohabakiri), and the Re:Master by カマボコ君 (Kamaboko-kun). The background video originally showed Touhou Danmaku Kagura gameplay footage but was replaced with the song's official music video starting from maimai でらっくす PRiSM.
