響け！CHIREI MY WAY! is a Touhou Project arranged song featured in maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE, released on January 6, 2022. The track reimagines the soundtrack of Touhou Chireiden (Subterranean Animism) as an upbeat idol-pop anthem, weaving together melodies from seven of ZUN's original compositions including 少女さとり ～ 3rd eye, 廃獄ララバイ, 死体旅行 ～ Be of good cheer!, 業火マントル, 霊知の太陽信仰 ～ Nuclear Fusion, ラストリモート, and ハルトマンの妖怪少女. Though credited solely to 森羅万象 (Shinra Bansho) as the artist, the song is a cross-circle collaboration with イノライ (Inorai). Melody arranger kaztora (Shinra Bansho) worked alongside arranger and lyricist ACTRock (Inorai) and additional arranger waoru (OrbitArk) to produce the track. The vocal lineup deliberately mirrors the four central characters of Subterranean Animism, the Komeiji sisters Satori and Koishi, as well as Rin Kaenbyou (Orin) and Utsuho Reiuji (Okuu), with four singers each taking a part: ayaponzu* and ayo from Shinra Bansho, and cheluce and meramipop from Inorai. The title itself carries layered wordplay: "CHIREI" simultaneously evokes Chireiden (地霊殿, the Japanese subtitle of Subterranean Animism) and the term chirei (地霊, "earth spirit"), while "MY WAY" speaks to the independence and self-will that define the Chireiden cast. The arrangement consciously channels the energy of anime opening themes and idol-music productions, drawing comparisons to franchises like The iDOLM@STER and Love Live! in its structure and delivery. Within maimai, the MASTER chart (level 12+, constant 12.7) was designed by 隅田川星人 (Sumidagawa Seijin) and is notable for its high Slide-note count of 101, weaving a flowing, dense pattern that mirrors the song's lively vocal melodies. The EXPERT chart was designed by 翠楼屋 (Suirouya). A minor revision was applied to the BASIC difficulty, which launched at level 3 in UNiVERSE and was adjusted to level 2 from UNiVERSE+ onward.
