Glorious Crown is an instrumental track by xi (Yusuke Ishiwata), a Japanese composer renowned in the BMS and rhythm game community for his technically demanding, piano-driven compositions. The song serves as a direct sequel to his earlier landmark work FREEDOM DiVE, and it was added to maimai PiNK on May 26, 2016, as the version's final Challenge Track. The full version later appeared on xi's fourth album, Evolved Chronicles, where it quotes a portion of FREEDOM DiVE's melody near its conclusion, explicitly cementing the connection between the two pieces. Within the maimai community, Glorious Crown earned a reputation for its formidable chart lineup. It was the only song in PiNK whose Basic, Advanced, Expert, and Master charts each occupied the highest level bracket available for their respective difficulties at the time. The MASTER chart, designed collaboratively by チャン@DP皆伝 and Jack, carries a difficulty constant of 14.8 and was so demanding that during the Challenge Track period, which imposed Life 1 restrictions, no player managed to clear it; the highest score recorded was 95%. The song also received an UTAGE (宴) chart in maimai FiNALE that was later revived in maimai DX BUDDiES. A remix by t+pazolite, titled Glorious Crown (tpz over-Over-OVERCUTE REMIX), appears on the Evolved Chronicles album and later found its way into CHUNITHM STAR.
