Yet Another "drizzly rain" is an up-tempo vocal arrangement of Patchouli Knowledge's theme from Touhou Koumakyo (the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil). The track was created by doujin musician myu314 and features vocals by Amane (あまね) of the COOL&CREATE circle. It originated as a self-remix of myu314's earlier arrangement "drizzly rain" from the 2004 album 東方ストライク (Touhou Strike), recorded at a slightly faster pace for the 2006 release drizzly train. The song is built on the melody of ラクトガール ～ 少女密室 (Locked Girl ~ The Girl's Secret Room), the stage 4 boss theme of Touhou Koumakyo associated with the magician Patchouli Knowledge. Its most recognizable moment is the vocal ad-lib "う～パチュリー！" (Uu~ Patchouli!), a direct call-out to the character that has become a staple of community recognition for the track. The jacket artwork used in maimai was carried over from the 2010 compilation album drizzly again, where Yet Another "drizzly rain" appeared as a bonus track alongside the original arrangement and a version sung by Mario (まりお). Added to maimai ORANGE PLUS on November 12, 2015, the song has persisted across every subsequent maimai version. Its Master chart, designed by 某S氏, has seen one of the most aggressive level escalations among Touhou charts in the series, rising from level 11 at launch to level 12+ by the BUDDiES PLUS era, a testament to how the chart's difficulty was re-evaluated over time. The song also crossed into SEGA's CHUNITHM during the same month, as part of a limited-time 東方紅魔郷 event MAP before becoming a default unlock.
