若い力 (Wakai Chikara, "Youthful Power") is SEGA's official company song, adopted in 1991 and added to maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE PLUS on April 1, 2022. Composed by Kei Wakakusa (若草恵) with lyrics by SEGA employee Eiichi Takahashi and performed by 135, a vocal group drawn from the SEGA workforce whose name references the 135 employees at the time of the song's creation, the track embodies the company's corporate philosophy. Its lyrics speak of intellectual creation, building culture, and contributing to society, closing with a repeated chant of "SEGA, SEGA, SEGA, 若い力." The jacket art features a photograph of SEGA's former headquarters at the Ōtorii (大鳥居) office complex, giving the in-game representation a documentary, archival feel. The timing of its addition, April Fools' Day, is widely regarded by players as a playful, self-aware gesture: SEGA adding its own anthem to a SEGA arcade rhythm game. Within maimai, the song's three DX charts range from a straightforward Basic (level 3) to a demanding Master (level 13, constant 13.3). The Master chart, originally rated 13+ before being adjusted downward starting with BUDDiES+, was designed by 翠楼屋 (Suirouya) and stands out for its heavy Break note count (62), extensive Touch note usage (56), and dense patterning at a modest 114 BPM, a stamina-intensive chart that belies the song's calm corporate character. The Expert chart was designed by はっぴー. A remixed version, 若い力 -SEGA HARD GIRLS MIX-, was used as the ending theme for the Hi☆sCoool! セハガール anime and later added to maimai as a separate playable track.
