It was created as the final-round boss song for the KING of Performai 2019 tournament, marking owl＊tree's first boss-song commission for the series. The music video was produced by 鑓田 (alpha complex). The piece stands out in owl＊tree's catalog for its use of irregular time signatures and swung rhythms, rhythmic traits that give the track a lopsided, dancing quality echoing the "valse" (waltz) hinted at by its title. These quirks carry directly into the maimai charts: the Expert chart (designed by はっぴー) features 24th-note shuffle passages similar to those in high-difficulty charts like 高気圧ねこロック and Signature, while the Master chart (designed by jacK on Phoenix) delivers a dense 14.7-constant layout with heavy Touch-note usage (131 Touch notes) and demanding Slide patterns that cement its boss-chart status.
