Beyond his work under the Maozon name, he also produces as Scarfaith and Primal Beast, and is known in the broader Japanese music scene for co-writing "R.Y.U.S.E.I." (with STY) for the vocal group Sandaime J Soul Brothers, a notable crossover between the rhythm-game commission world and mainstream J-pop. The song joined maimai でらっくす PLUS on July 3, 2020 as part of the Metropolis Area 2: Kurohime's Counterattack event (メトロポリスちほー2 黒姫の逆襲).
