The track was produced by Vocaloid-P and DTM creator niki, with vocals by noire, both artists making their first appearance in the maimai franchise. The song's title derives from the French word triage, meaning a principle of priority allocation or sorting, a theme reflected in its urgent, driving 180 BPM arrangement. The accompanying video was created by 桜井貴志 (Takashi Sakurai).

In UNiVERSE, the song was initially locked behind the Space Station Area (宇宙すてーしょんちほー), requiring players to accumulate 468 km of in-area distance to unlock it. From maimai DX FESTiVAL onward, the track became available by default. On the charting side, the EXPERT difficulty was designed by 華火職人 (Kanon Oguni) and the MASTER difficulty by シチミヘルツ (Shichimi hertz), the latter of whom crafted a Level 13 (13.3) chart with a notably high Slide-note density, 128 slides out of 637 total notes, giving it a distinct, pattern-driven character that stands out among UNiVERSE-era Master charts.
