大輪の魂 (feat. AO, 司芭扶) is a Touhou Project arrangement by the doujin music circle 魂音泉 (Tamaonsen), added to maimai DX with the UNiVERSE PLUS update on July 1, 2022. The track reworks 魔法少女達の百年祭 (Magical Girls' Centennial Festival), the Extra stage theme from 東方紅魔郷 (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil), the sixth mainline Touhou game. Tamaonsen, a circle active since the late 2000s and known for weaving hip-hop, rap, and melodic vocal styles into Touhou arrangements, brings two guest vocalists, AO and 司芭扶, to the foreground over a mid-tempo 137 BPM instrumental. The result is a groovier, more restrained take on a stage theme that usually receives high-energy treatment, leaning into the ceremonial atmosphere its title ("Great Wheel's Soul") suggests. In-game, the Master chart (level 13, constant 13.3) was designed by Jack, known among players for dense Slide and Touch patterns, while the Expert chart was designed by はっぴー (Happy). The song is available across all four maimai DX regions: Japan, International, the United States, and China.
