This deliberate juxtaposition of antiquated speech patterns and youthful aesthetic motifs forms the track's central gimmick. The song debuted on March 21, 2024 as part of the maimai DX BUDDiES PLUS update. It was initially exclusive to パーリィちほー2 (Party Area 2), a limited-time event area where players needed to clear preceding challenge songs, including エスオーエス (SOS), before they could access it. The track became generally unlockable for all players on March 13, 2025, coinciding with the launch of the PRiSM PLUS version. A dedicated 宴 (Banquet) chart was added later on September 18, 2025, featuring separate left and right note layouts for two-player play, with its designer credited under the tongue-in-cheek alias のじゃロリックがはじまるぞ ("The Nojarorick Begins").
