Performed by Mie Sonozaki in her role as the series mascot Arle, the song was produced for the Puyo Puyo Vocal Tracks album (2013) and subsequently added to maimai GreeN at launch on July 11, 2013. It became Arle's recurring character theme from Puyopuyo! Puyopuyo 15th Anniversary onward. The vocal arrangement credits Hideki Abe (composition), Hirofumi Murasaki (arrangement), and Mizuki Hosoyamada (lyrics), building upon the original composition by MATS (Masanobu Tsukamoto). The song's upbeat, playful tone matches Arle's energetic personality and the whimsical world of Puyo Puyo. The song also received two UTAGE (宴) charts added in MURASAKi (2017) and later in the DX era, whose designers named their creations after Puyo Puyo's signature "connect-four" mechanic as a franchise in-joke. Outside maimai, the song appeared in ONGEKI Re:Fresh as a LUNATIC-only track, marking the first LUNATIC-exclusive song in nearly four years. In Asian English maimai cabinets, the title is displayed as "Jikuu Wo Koete Hisashiburi!" with the artist credited as "Arle/Mie Sonozaki 'PUYOPUYO'." Its in-game genre has shifted across maimai versions, originally GAME, then SEGA, ORIGINAL, and finally settling under GAME & VARIETY.
