Overview

Dragon Night is a mid-tempo pop track by the Japanese band SEKAI NO OWARI, best known for their theatrical live performances and fantasy-tinged songwriting. Released as the group's seventh single and included on their 2015 album Tree, the song features composition and vocals by frontman Fukase and additional arrangement by Dutch producer Nicky Romero. Its chorus hook, a repeated, rhythmically chanted "ドラゲナイ" (Doragenai, a clipped pronunciation of "Dragon Night"), combined with Fukase's use of a walkie-talkie-shaped microphone during live shows, became a widespread internet talking point in Japan shortly after release.

The track was added to maimai PiNK at the arcade's launch in December 2015 as a POPS & ANIME category song. It was later delisted from maimai cabinets on June 21, 2018, making it one of the earlier licensed songs to be removed from the series' library as licensing agreements shifted. The standard chart lineup covers four difficulties: Basic (Lv. 4), Advanced (Lv. 5), Expert (Lv. 8) designed by Techno Kitchen, and Master (Lv. 10) designed by rioN. An English-language version of the song was also released, though it did not appear in maimai.
