結ンデ開イテ羅刹ト骸 (Musunde Hiraite Rasetsu to Mukuro) is a Hatsune Miku Vocaloid track composed, arranged, and written by the producer ハチ (Hachi). First uploaded to Nico Nico Douga in 2009, the version featured in maimai, added to FiNALE on January 25, 2019, is an updated recording that later appeared on Hachi's debut album OFFICIAL ORANGE (2010). The lyrics paint a surreal, macabre scene: a one-legged cat beckoning a young lady to play, a procession of chanting funeral stupas, a koinobori (carp streamer) pregnant with a skull, all woven around the sinisterly repurposed children's refrain "musunde hiraite" (close and open). Musically, the track drives forward at 169 BPM with dark folk-theatrical instrumentation characteristic of Hachi's early Vocaloid style. In Asian English releases of maimai, the song is titled "Close and Open Demons and the Dead". It also appears in SEGA's CHUNITHM series, where the title was adjusted to 結んで開いて羅刹と骸 to match the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA games.
