ATLAS RUSH is an original instrumental track composed by kanone for maimai でらっくす PRiSM PLUS, released on April 11, 2025. It is kanone's third contribution to the maimai series, following two earlier original songs, the drum-and-bass-infused "花と、雪と、ドラムンベース。" (added in MiLK) and the aggressive "雷切-RAIKIRI-" (from FiNALE). The song's video was produced by Khronetic (Malcolm Klau), known for sleek, high-energy visual work in the rhythm game scene. Unlike most maimai original songs that are unlocked automatically or through standard shop purchases, ATLAS RUSH debuted as a special Friend Matching (フレンドマッチング) reward. Players had to defeat the boss otomodachi (ボスオトモダチ) encountered at SSS1 class to reach LEGEND rank, at which point the song became available. It also functions as a "conduction song" (伝導楽曲): a player who has unlocked it can pass it to another player by playing it together in multiplayer on the same cabinet, provided the conductor is at LEGEND rank. In the Asian version, the unlock shifted to August 1, 2025, and starting with maimai DX CiRCLE the song became available by default. The track is built around a driving 156 BPM beat with bright synth leads and rapid arpeggios, characteristic of kanone's energetic style. Its chart suite spans five difficulties, with the MASTER chart (level 14+, designed by BELiZHEL) featuring over a thousand notes, 1,045 total, and the EXPERT chart (level 12+, designed by サファ太) clocking in at 592 notes. ATLAS RUSH was also pre-recorded on the limited-edition campaign album maimai でらっくす グッズキャンペーンDiSC -PRiSM-, which was distributed through a goods-present campaign rather than sold at retail.
