World's end BLACKBOX is a maimai original composition by 打打だいず (D-D-Dice) that arrived in maimai DX PRiSM PLUS on July 11, 2025, as the culminating boss of the KALEIDXSCOPE event's Prism Tower course. It is the direct narrative and musical sequel to "World's end loneliness" from UNiVERSE PLUS, continuing the 7sRef storyline toward its climactic resolution. The track's 205 BPM drive, aggressive electronic arrangement, and apocalyptic atmosphere reflect D-D-Dice's signature production style. A full-length version appears on the composer's album "World's Eclipse," which also includes a remix by xi (Yusuke Ishiwata). The in-game movie, produced by Gunjou licorice with illustrations by かわく, visualizes the collapse of the 7sRef world into a black box and the emergence of the PRiSM system. The Prism Tower course proved extraordinarily difficult: no player managed to unlock World's end BLACKBOX on its release day, a first since "氷滅の135小節" in an earlier KALEIDXSCOPE iteration, with the day's highest score reaching only 93%. The first clear was achieved the following day, July 12, 2025. The Master chart, designed by 7sRef -DOVE- at a 14.9 constant, incorporates pattern homages from other KALEIDXSCOPE boss charts and ranks among the most demanding 14+ charts in the game. Luxizhel handled the Expert chart. Players who achieve ALL PERFECT on both World's end BLACKBOX and World's end loneliness on Master difficulty earn the title "FiNEM MUNDi," Latin for "end of the world."
