Overview

Aegleseeker is a collaborative composition by Silentroom and Frums, originally crowned the Grand Prize winner of the Arcaea Song Contest 2020. It later became the final boss track of the Esoteric Order side story pack in lowiro's mobile rhythm game Arcaea before crossing over into maimai DX FESTiVAL as part of a limited-time collaboration event. The track pulses at 234 BPM with a glitch-laced electronic arrangement that blends Silentroom's driving synth work with Frums' signature asymmetrical rhythmic sensibility. The only intelligible vocal, the whispered line "…and in that light, I find deliverance.", is spoken by Frums himself, recorded specifically for the song and placed just before the climactic drop. In maimai, the song was unlockable through the Arcaea Area 2 event by accumulating 500 km of in-game travel distance, and was eventually removed from the catalog on March 13, 2025. Beyond the arcade, extended arrangements exist on Silentroom's album In My Heart ("Afterworld" Full Version) and the Arcaea Sound Collection: Memories of Myth (over the horizon).
