トランスダンスアナーキー (Trance Dance Anarchy) is a high-energy Touhou Project arrange by the doujin music circle 暁Records, with Stack handling arrangement, lyrics, and vocals. The track reimagines クレイジーバックダンサーズ (Crazy Back Dancers), the stage 5 boss theme from ZUN's 2017 bullet-hell title 東方天空璋 ～ Hidden Star in Four Seasons. In the original game, the theme accompanies the fight against the dancing duo Nishida Satono and Teireida Mai, and 暁Records' arrangement amplifies their theatrical, carefree vibe into a driving electronic dance track at a brisk 195 BPM. Trance Dance Anarchy first appeared on the 暁Records album Metamorphosis, released at Comic Market 93 in December 2017. The album's title track, Metamorphosis, has appeared in other rhythm games such as Groove Coaster. Before landing in maimai, Trance Dance Anarchy debuted in SEGA's CHUNITHM AMAZON PLUS in 2019 via a limited-time event. It joined the maimai DX lineup on June 11, 2021 as part of the Splash PLUS update, categorized under the 東方Project genre across all regions including Japan, international, USA, and China (with the Chinese version arriving later in September 2022 on 舞萌DX 2022). In maimai, the song spans four DX-difficulty charts. The MASTER chart (level 13, constant 13.5) was designed by はっぴー and packs 932 total notes, with 178 Slide notes making up a notably large share of the note count, a signature touch reflecting the designer's slide-intensive style. The EXPERT chart (level 10+, constant 10.6) was designed by サファ太 and offers a more moderate 653-note spread. The music video, credited to カフウ様 and 原之様, accompanies the original 暁Records release and features the same lively visual identity as the track's doujin roots.
