The track was composed by series veteran Shoji Meguro (目黒 将司), with English lyrics penned by Reiko Tanaka and performed by Shihoko Hirata, both frequent collaborators on the Persona soundtrack. The "Never More" subtitle ties the arrangement to the overarching reflective farewell motif that runs through the Persona 4 Dancing All Night soundtrack. In maimai, the song arrived on August 13, 2015 as part of the ORANGE PLUS update, slotted into the GAME & VARIETY (ゲーム＆バラエティ) category. At 109 BPM, it sits on the slower end of the maimai library, and its vocal-driven, melodic phrasing gives the Expert and Master charts a distinctly rhythmic, lyric-aligned feel. The Expert chart (level 10+, constant 10.6) was designed by Jack, while the Master chart (level 12+, constant 12.6) was handled by はっぴー (Happy). Both charts feature the classic five-note-type layout of the ORANGE-era standard, with no Touch notes, reflecting its pre-DX origins.
