さくゆいたいそう (Saku Yui Taisou) is an original song by the Nijisanji VTuber duo さくゆい (Saku Yui), comprising 笹木咲 (Saku Sasaki) and 椎名唯華 (Yuika Shiina). The track was composed, arranged, and lyricized by Kinoshita (キノシタ), who also produced its music video, and was first released as a standalone single in 2022. It joined the maimai DX BUDDiES lineup at the version's launch on September 14, 2023, and later crossed over to SEGA's CHUNITHM LUMINOUS on December 21, 2023. The title is a playful portmanteau, さくゆい (the unit name) fused with たいそう (taisō, meaning exercise or gymnastics), reflecting the song's call-and-response, feel-good character designed to get listeners moving along with the duo. In the maimai rhythm game, both the EXPERT chart (designed by 佑 / Yuu) and the MASTER chart (designed by メロンポップ / Melonpop) are noted for their unusually tight synchronization with the song's lyrics and music video. Note placements mirror the duo's spoken counting ("いち、にー、さん、しー"), slide patterns trace the circular hand motions described in the verses, and specific gestures from the MV are recreated through carefully positioned Touch notes, slides, and holds. The MASTER chart at level 12+ is especially dense with these gimmicks, making it feel less like a traditional chart and more like an interactive choreography. In BUDDiES PLUS (May 24, 2024), an UTAGE (宴) buddy chart was added that requires two players cooperating on a single screen, fittingly subtitled "2人合わせてさくゆいたいそう", two players together make Saku Yui Taisou.
