HUMANBORG is a vocal percussion showcase by SARUKANI, a four-member human beatbox crew whose members, SO-SO, RUSY, KAJI, and Kohey, transform their voices into a full rhythmic arsenal. The track was added to maimai でらっくす BUDDiES on January 26th, 2024, marking the group's debut in the series alongside their other contribution "ULTRA POWER." Composed and arranged by Kohey with lyrics by KAJI, the song layers beatbox percussion, sung refrains, and vocal effects across all four members, blurring the boundary between the human voice and electronic instrumentation. The title "HUMANBORG" fuses "human" and "cyborg," framing beatboxers as beings who weaponize their own bodies to produce music. The lyrics directly narrate beatbox techniques, "Beat the kick-drum, hit the cymbal, smash the snare-drum", turning the act of vocal percussion into a defiant anthem of self-made expression. The official lyric video, produced by Bakumu, amplifies this energy with kinetic typography and bold visual syncing.
