Overview
Phantasm Brigade is a Silver Forest arrangement of Necro Fantasia (ネクロファンタジア), the Phantasm Stage boss theme from the Touhou Project game Perfect Cherry Blossom (東方妖々夢). Arranged and lyricized by NYO with vocals by Sayuri, the track first appeared on a self-titled CD distributed at Reitaisai (博麗神社例大祭) in May 2007. In the rhythm-game realm, Phantasm Brigade has the unusual distinction of crossing company lines: it was ported to Sega's maimai (MURASAKi, May 2017) and CHUNITHM (AIR PLUS, May 2017), and also appeared in Konami's BeatStream. The BeatStream version featured an original PV illustrated by 七薙 (Nanana), which repurposed jacket art from Silver Forest's earlier album 闇の魔法結界.
