P-qoq is an original instrumental track by owl＊tree (Kennosuke Ono) that debuted in maimai でらっくす on July 11, 2019. The cryptic title is a phonetic play on the Japanese word for peacock (kujaku / 孔雀), rendered through the composer's signature style of made-up, quasi-English coinages. At 175 BPM, the song drives forward with energetic, synth-heavy production characteristic of owl＊tree's rhythm-game output. The track was initially unlocked through the Beginning Area (はじまりのちほー) by reaching a total distance of 250 m, and became available by default from maimai でらっくす Splash onward. It is available across all regions, Japan, International, USA, and China. owl＊tree had previously contributed "Desperate" to maimai MURASAKi PLUS, making P-qoq his first new maimai composition in roughly a year.
