なだめスかし Negotiation (TVsize) is the opening theme from the anime *Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!* (宇崎ちゃんは遊びたい！), adapted for maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE on January 28, 2022, under the POPS＆アニメ genre. The track is credited to the joint artist name 鹿乃と宇崎ちゃん (Kano to Uzaki-chan), pairing virtual singer Kano, known for performing anime theme songs, with the character Uzaki-chan. (In the full commercial release, the two vocalists each recorded separate versions; the TV-size edit used in maimai combines both.) The song title is a layered wordplay: なだめスかし blends なだめる (to calm or soothe) with a middle insertion of the katakana character ス (su), creating a pun on the English letter "S" while also evoking スかし (sukashi, meaning trick or deception). The English word "Negotiation" completes the title. This linguistic play carries directly into the game's MASTER chart, designed by アマリリス (Amaryllis), which incorporates one-letter "ス" slide patterns that visually reference the title's gimmick. The EXPERT chart was designed by はっぴー (Happy).
