The title is written in Leet (1337) speak, a numeral-substitution cipher in which every "E" becomes "3", so the phrase reads as "NEVER GET OVER." The track is an instrumental electronic house piece at a steady 128 BPM, with no vocal lyrics, driven by crisp synth work and a four-on-the-floor groove typical of C-Show's style. The song debuted as part of the Metropolis Area 5 (メトロポリスちほー5) Perfect Challenge, originally gated behind 800 km of travel distance before it could be attempted. It became available by default starting with maimai DX FESTiVAL PLUS in March 2023. Beyond maimai, N3V3R G3T OV3R crossed over into Sega's ONGEKI bright MEMORY and the independent rhythm game Muse Dash.
