The song is a remake of cittan*'s earlier composition L4TS, which originally appeared on the M3-distributed album "Reminisphere" and was previously featured in KONAMI's SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection- with vocals by kalon. and rap by core*mc. For this 2018 version, cittan* assembled an entirely new vocal arrangement: Ah1ru (あひる) on lead vocals and KTA delivering aggressive shouted passages, giving the track a distinct identity from its predecessor. Running at 190 BPM with a compact runtime of 1:51, the song blends tight electronic production with live instrumentation, Irus (LiLA'c Records) on guitar, Keinosuke Takumi (bienco) on bass, and Takahiro Eguchi on mixing duties. Added to maimai FiNALE on February 7, 2019, L4TS:2018 was carried forward into the maimai DX generation and remains available on current cabinets across all regions.
