カノン is a pop-rock single by Japanese voice actor and singer Mamoru Miyano (宮野真守), released as his 9th single on April 17, 2013. The track was composed by Noriyasu Agematsu and arranged by Junpei Fujita, both members of the production unit Elements Garden, a prolific collective known for scoring numerous anime, visual novel, and rhythm-game soundtracks. カノン served as the opening theme for episodes 2 through 13 of the anime series Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 2000% (the second season of the idol-themed franchise), and was also used as the ending theme for the first episode. The song's lyrics speak of unwavering love, shared determination, and the power of song to reach distant dreams, themes that resonate deeply with the series' focus on aspiring musicians and their emotional journeys.
