Blows Up Everything is a high-energy hardcore track by USAO (Masaharu Kubota), a prolific composer and DJ affiliated with the HARDCORE TANO*C label. Released for maimai でらっくす (maimai DX) on August 9, 2019, the song marked USAO's debut in the series under his primary alias, he had previously contributed to maimai as Shandy Kubota with "Dragoon" during the ORANGE PLUS era. The track lives up to its explosive title with relentless kicks, distorted synth stabs, and USAO's signature hardcore production style at a driving 215 BPM. Blows Up Everything was originally unlocked by reaching a total distance of 8,500 meters in the Metropolis Area (メトロポリスちほー), and from maimai でらっくす Splash onward it became available by default. Its five DX charts each interpret the track's intensity differently. The MASTER chart, designed by はっぴー (Happy), is especially notable for its call-and-response patterns that weave Slide and Touch notes into what players refer to as "いーち" (ichi) formations, a motif that would become a recognizable signature in USAO's future maimai contributions. The Re:MASTER chart, designed by サファ太 (Safata), escalates the density in its second half and contains no Extra (EX) notes, giving it the unusual feel of a STANDARD-style chart despite being a DX-era Re:MASTER. Blows Up Everything also served as one of the online qualifier songs for KING of Performai 2019, with its Re:MASTER difficulty added specifically for the tournament on September 20, 2019.
