Musically, ZIGG-ZAGG is an upbeat electronic pop track built around a steady 138 BPM. Its lyrics describe navigating a zigzag course through a monochrome world, weaving imagery of chewing gum, black rain, a spinning merry-go-round, and a "crybaby ring" into a narrative about parting ways with a familiar reality.
