Composed, arranged, and written by Tomoya Kinoshita, the song appears on the compilation album ゾンビランドサガ フランシュシュ The Best, released in 2019. 目覚めRETURNER was added to maimai DX on October 4, 2019 as part of the Zombieland Saga Area collaboration.
