The track was arranged by Ardolf and Daily天利, who reworked the original composition "Retribution" by nm-y and Kry.exe from Phigros's Chapter 8 (朔月の汐). Before its maimai appearance, the arrangement had already debuted in Phigros as an April Fools' Day song in 2024, a fittingly surprising introduction for a track that bridges two rhythm-game communities. The maimai version is a condensed arcade cut: the piano break section present in the Phigros original was removed and certain vocal samples omitted, bringing the track to a runtime of 2:35. At a steady 112 BPM, the song carries a deliberate, dramatic energy driven by layered synths and a building intensity that suits the boss-chart treatment it received in maimai. The Master chart (level 14.4, designed by サファ太) is notable for its dense Break-note clusters and comprehensive Touch-note layout, while the Expert chart (level 13.0, designed by はっぴー) extends the same design philosophy to a slightly more accessible level. Both charts make full use of the five-note-type DX palette, and the relatively slow tempo creates a distinctive challenge: patterns that feel denser and more intricate than the BPM alone would suggest.
