The song's genre classification has shifted across maimai versions: it began as J-POP, transitioned to POPS during the GreeN era, and eventually settled into POPS & ANIME from PiNK onward, reflecting the evolution of maimai's category system itself. A notable visual refresh arrived with maimai でらっくす: the song received an entirely new jacket illustration and its original background video was replaced with a static display of the updated artwork.
