The track originally appeared on his 2015 album ロストピリカ (Lost Pirica) before being added to maimai MiLK on March 6, 2018. Its title references the Kirin, a chimerical creature from East Asian mythology often depicted as a hooved, dragon-scaled beast, and the music matches that mythic scale with relentless energy at 220 BPM. The song's music video was produced by Aono.Y, and its jacket art carries a striking, stylized depiction fitting the mythological theme. In-game, the Master chart (level 14, constant 14.1, designed by サファ太) is notable for its dense slide-note formations and has been re-evaluated upward multiple times across maimai versions, it entered MiLK at level 12+, climbed to 13 in FiNALE, hit 14 by Splash, and eventually settled at its current constant. The Expert chart (designed by ぴちネコ) also received level bumps across versions.
