The title evokes a lariat, the wrestling move in which the performer swings an arm in a wide arc, and this spinning motion becomes the song's central lyrical motif. Its verses trace expanding radii: 85 centimeters (arm's reach), 250 centimeters, and ultimately 6,300 kilometers (the Earth's radius), each marking a shift in the narrator's relationship with the world. The refrain "今から振り回しますので離れていてください" ("I'm going to swing it around now, so please stand back") directly invokes the physical arc of a lariat and reappears as the designer comment on the song's later UTAGE chart. The track joined maimai ORANGE at its launch on September 18, 2014, though placeholder references to its jacket exist in the maimai GreeN PLUS data, suggesting it was originally slated for an earlier update. In Asian English releases the title was romanized as Double Lariat and the artist as Agoaniki.
